Owner and designer Elayne Langley was disappointed at the slim offerings of high quality wallpaper in Charlotte. After yet another trip to Atlanta to search for the perfect paper, she and her husband Doug decided to open Celedore, bringing beautiful resources to the Charlotte general public. Studio 2935 Interiors
Formerly known as Simply Vintage, Studio 2935 Interiors has been serving Charlotte customers for nine years. Purveyors of architectural salvage, fine vintage furniture and reclaimed industrial décor, the shop has recently taken up residence in a 5,400-square-foot warehouse in the heart of SouthEnd’s historic district. Southend Kitchens
Check out their newest kitchen island display installed by Harkey Stone and Tile, featuring waterfall edges that have been book-matched and mitered. The new material from Cosentino is called Dekton and can be used in flooring, counter tops and building exteriors. Showroom is located at 1500 South Boulevard, #101A.
Cindy Smith; Catbird Collection
Circa’s debut collection of furniture, Catbird, was thoughtfully conceived by a few of the region’s best architects and designers, including Ken Pursley of Pursley Dixon Architecture and designer Emily Bourgeois. Catbird Collection will be showcased at the distinguished Maison & Objet trade show in Miami May 10 - 13.
