Traci Zeller Traci Zeller Interiors “as a lifelong world traveler, including childhood years spent in Okinawa, Japan, I’m continually inspired by the beauty in other cultures. In college, I minored in French and spent a summer living and studying in the charming seaport city of La Rochelle, France.  Inspired by everything I love most about French culture, I live for projects that land right at the intersection of fashion, art, and design. My clients benefit from the cosmopolitan influences I bring to our gracious Southern homes and my highly curated list of international vendors. and with a grandfather who maintained couture-quality standards in his tailor shop, I seek out only the best craftsmanship and beauty in the elements I use to create my interiors.“

Tips of the trade:

• Statement fixtures function as the room’s jewelry. a chandelier is a perfect place to invest because it doesn’t suffer everyday wear and tear.
• When in doubt, use a pair. However, if a space calls for asymmetry, think in odd numbers. remember to vary heights for added interest.
• Pay careful attention to function. Today’s performance fabrics look and feel amazing and are a wonderful option for upholstery.
