Interior designer Erin Dougherty offers more than what meets the eye. In addition to her curated home furnishings boutique, Isabella, which specializes in fine bedding, bath linens, lighting, accessories, and more, Dougherty also runs a full-service design studio that works with clients across the board – from one-room projects to full-home renovations. “Many of our design clients come to us because they like the aesthetic of the retail shop or even from what they see on our Instagram feed, so I make sure the shop is filled with unique pieces that I find inspiring,” Dougherty says. “Traveling and exploring other cities always inspire me. On a recent trip to L.A., I visited so many amazing design boutiques, showrooms, and museums. I came back full of ideas to share with the girls at work. I am lucky to have a great design and sales team. We are constantly bouncing ideas off each other for our design projects,” she says. “Inspiration for a client’s entire home may come from one fabric swatch we have in our design studio or from a pillow on the retail floor.”
